Introduction:  Patek Philippe 2545J; Tiffany screw down water resistant Calatrava, measuring 32mm.  This reference model replaced the Ref. 96 with a water resistant case, and measuring 32mm.  The watch is fitted with an 12"400 caliber 18-jewel movement #727201 / 309383.  Further the watch has been just serviced and detailed with new gaskets as necessary.  The watch is further fitted with a brown alligator strap.

Essay:  Ref 2545, the rare waterproof Calatrava model, was launched in 1954. It’s the waterproof counterpart of the famed Calatrava ref. 96, differing from it for the increased size and screw back. One of Patek's rarest references, it is known to be produced in yellow, pink and white gold. Thus far, only slightly more than 25 examples of 2545 came back to the market.
